The space
IMPORTANT:
Our listing is for the lake front 2 PERSON STUDIO ONLY unless you book for more than 2 guests or request access (AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE) to the detached bedroom. The studio space has one queen sized bed. The detached bedroom has a queen sized bed as well.
A calming, modern color palette, the most comfortable linens and bath towels, a real leather couch and a bed you won’t want to get out of are just a few of the luxurious details that make our cabin the perfect getaway space.
Go to bed in what feels like a treehouse under the stars- the floor to ceiling windows along the lake wall will have you feeling like you’re sleeping outside, only in comfy sheets and without the bugs! Our firm, queen sized mattress is dressed in plush linens and pillows covered in satin pillowcases. If you’re into super cushy, we do have extra pillows available for your use as well.
Wake up to the sunrise over the water, or don’t, and use the room darkening shades to keep the sunlight out if you decide to sleep in. Enjoy the coffee bar with several options! We offer the tiniest French press for cold brew coffee in the mornings, a Keurig and also have ground coffee stocked in house so you don’t have to bring your own! Take a cup out to the patio and breathe in the beauty.
***New to our listing is a private, detached bedroom featuring a queen sized bed to accommodate older children (12+ only) or up to two more adults. Please note the bedroom is separated from the main studio a few feet away. The restroom is in the main studio only. ***
Our home sits on a mostly quiet cove in a no wake zone. No boats zooming by here! The large porch has plenty of patio furniture and the most amazing views, as well as a Blackstone griddle and a gas grill for all your cooking needs.
Down the steps and a short walkway, we provide a small sunning and fishing dock. The water is clear and blue-green, and fairly deep despite the recent drought. Take a dip in the lake or bring a book down and spend the day here relaxing.
When it warms up, head back to the cabin and retreat the the cool A/C for a nap! Our home is equipped with a wifi enabled mini split unit, tower fan and ceiling fan that keeps the home comfortable during the hot summer weather.
Our KITCHENETTE is small, but provides a space for preparing meals, a microwave and sink. We also provide some seasonings, oil, some flatware and plates/cups/bowls, an emeril lagasse 360 power air fryer, coffee mugs and some bar ware. Our home has a modest but full sized refrigerator for keeping drinks cold and food fresh! WE DO NOT OFFER A FULL SIZE OVEN OR RANGE.
If you aren’t planning to stay in for eating, make sure you stop by Bloom coffee in town, hang out at Muddy Mike's for yummy food and live music, or fajitas at one of our favorites- La Finca Mexican restaurant.
Bring your laptop or device and finish out your day with some Netflix on the Joybird leather sofa (gorgeous AND comfortable) or curled up reading in the chair! (THERE IS NO TV IN THE LISTING)
The home is equipped with fast wifi that has streaming capabilities, so you can get work done or work on your candy crush score, binge your favorite shows all weekend, or, if you’re anything like us, look up lake properties for sale because you’ve loved it out here!
We spared no expense on making this your new favorite spot for a peaceful getaway. We can’t wait to have your over to our tiny cottage on the cove!

You'll have access to the main studio and entire property, including the private dock. (The detached bedroom is available for an additional fee.) If you're bringing a watercraft, you will have to pay a boating permit fee to the city of Cisco to launch.
Other things to note
We love kids and have seven of our own between our families, but unfortunately, we do not offer this property to families! The County Road getting to the place is a little bumpy, but absolutely worth it. Roll the windows down and check out the lake views as you cruise in!
