Welcome to The S'more the Bearier! This three bedroom, three bathroom mountain home is located in a gated community near Boone. It features multiple fireplaces, a fenced yard, and a variety of games to entertain your group!

Relax out on any of the three porches while listening to the birds sing, or the crickets chirp. Head out and roast s'mores and share memories by either of the two firepits that are offered for you to enjoy!
We offer a fenced yard for your family and dog travelers to burn off some energy!
IMPORTANT NOTES
- We are very pet friendly! We have both a fenced in front porch as well as a fenced in yard. We offer dog crate furniture for ease of travel for pet owners. We welcome a max of 2 dog travelers of any weight or breed. Mature, well trained, and please use dog beds or crates. Thank you for not allowing your pets on the beds! Pet rent is $25+tax per pet per night. Pets other than dogs are not permitted.
- Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice for $25 per night plus taxes. This provides two wrapped bundles of wood and a firestarter per nightly bundle.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens are provided.
- All bedrooms offer Smart TVs. All TVs are streaming
- Main roads are plowed in the winter. 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- Check-in is 4pm. Checkout is 10am
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- Driveway has security camera mounted to the left side of the garage, also a door bell style security camera monitors the main entryway. No cameras are point at the interior of the property or common gathering areas.
CANCELLATION POLICY -
Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of he deposit.
Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
