Summary: I was quite surprised by reading all the reviews on this hotel that were super great. I found it to not be as great as the reviewers mentioned. First, the ocean is across the street across the Pacific coast highway, which is a highway. Not easy to cross, and it is down the street away, not across the street from the hotel. The pier is 6 miles from the hotel. I had taken an Uber to the hotel with my granddaughter and found that it was not something we would be able to walk to as we had read in the reviews. There isn’t a lobby there’s a man that’s behind a glass window And was not very friendly. The room was clean very dated. There were two chairs to sit at that were part of the kitchen set the only place you could sit to watch television would be on the bed. There was plenty of room to put a couple chairs or a sofa of some kind in that room. Our room is number 220 right on the PCH. You could hear the traffic all night long. I will not stay at this hotel again and I hope this was helpful for anyone that is planning to stay there.
