The space
There's no better place to book your Jersey Shore vacation stay than at our newly updated, beach-themed waterfront "Sandy Feet Retreat". This nautical four bedroom, 2.5 bath beauty boasts upper and lower waterfront decks which are perfect for relaxing with your favorite book and enjoying the beautiful water views.
The upper deck offers great views of Mallard Island, the nearby footbridge, Barnegat Bay, LBI and the LBI bridge. Enjoy relaxing in the antigravity loungers while you listen to the sounds of neighborhood ducks and watch the seagulls soaring by in the summer sky. The lower deck contains a dreamy swing and table and chairs for refreshments or game playing. Below these elevated decks enjoy family time on the 50' x 20' dock. Feel free to crab from the dock, take a spin in the kayaks, (2 adult kayaks and 2 children’s kayaks). be sure to enjoy your refreshments and meals fresh from the barbecue grill at the picnic table or high-top table equipped with a fire pit.
Alternatively, kick back and enjoy the comfort of another spacious elevated deck at the front of the house. It is newly outfitted with a patio sofa, chairs, ottomans and table. Relax under the newly installed Sun Sails, as the summer sun passes over the house and travels west!
You'll find that this 2800 square foot rental offers all the familiar comforts of home including a washer and dryer, towels, linens and more. Pack light with just your toothbrush and flip flops! The home features a large, fully updated and stocked kitchen with comfortable seating for eight, 3 separate living areas with 2 large screen televisions (including 2 fireplaces on both the lower and upper levels.) The spacious Master Bedroom is outfitted with a King bed, while another guest room includes a Queen bed. The third bedroom (water front), contains one set of bunk beds, and a twin and the fourth sports a trundle bed for two.
The Sandy Feet Retreat is in the perfect location to take a 5-minute ride to all that Long Beach Island has to offer and then take the short ride home again to the quiet, relaxing and serene surroundings of your Manahawkin Creek home.
Once refreshed, you are within walking distance to 2 of the most highly rated restaurants in the area, the Old Causeway Steak and Oyster House and the Mud City Crab House (0.3 mile). You may also walk over the footbridge just east of the home to Mallard Island or walk to Mallard Island Yacht Club (0.2 miles). We are just minutes away from LBI beaches (a short 3.5-mile drive). The Causeway Bridge allows walkers and bikers access to cross in order to take a more scenic approach between Manahawkin & LBI.
We provide 8 beach badges, beach towels and beach chairs too.
The pontoon boat is not part of the rental. Boat, Jet-ski rentals can be found in the surrounding area but we store ours at the home dock.
