We purchased this home (March 2021) from full-time owners, with the intent to enjoy its location, comforts and amenities firsthand every few weeks, and share it with others between our visits. THIS PROPERTY IS NEW TO VRBO, HENCE THE LACK OF REVIEWS. IT HAS OPERATED AS A SHORT-TERM RENTAL ON OTHER SITES FOR ROUGHLY 2 YEARS, WITH 49 UNIQUE REVIEWS AND AN AVERAGE RATING OF 4.96 OUT OF 5.
This amazing home features an open floorplan ideal for entertaining and enjoying time with family and friends. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances including a Keurig coffee maker. The adjoining dining area and living area both comfortably seat 6 adults. Upstairs, you will find 3 bedrooms and a non-conforming (shelving but no closet) 4th bedroom. There is a full bathroom off the master and a second in the hallway. A family room, laundry room and third full bathroom can be found downstairs. Outdoor space includes a front deck with views overlooking Penn Cove and a back-patio area with a grill and seating.
The community beach at Long Point is a ¼ mile stroll from the house. Bring your bikes and ride the 2 miles to charming downtown Coupeville to enjoy its fine restaurants, shops, docks, fairs and festivals. Conveniently located a 2-hour drive from Seattle (or less if you can time the Mukilteo/Clinton ferry right), this vacation home is in a great central island location with easy access to downtown Oak Harbor (14 miles North), the picturesque town of Langley (24 miles Southeast), Deception Pass (24 miles North) and Fort Casey (6 miles South).
The home is kid-friendly - our 2 sons are 7 ½ and 4 ½ - and has a pack ‘n play and highchair available for use. The home and entire community are dog-friendly (light shedding dogs only with a one-time $100 fee) provided you know your dog will travel well and that you clean up after it (inside and out as applicable). We would be pleased to offer you activity and culinary suggestions during your stay as knowing that somebody else is taking advantage of this amazing home and location is the next best thing to being there ourselves!
