Imagine a lake house nestled in the woodlands with lake frontage. Now, add a swimming pool surrounded with palms and flowers. The deck offers a beautiful view of the lake, trees, the deer which occasionally come to graze and the hummingbirds that sometimes flit in for a sip from the red feeder. For good reason, the lake house is called Hale Waioli which means "House of Singing" or "Joyful Waters" in Hawaiian.
Living quarters include four bedrooms and a loft (with 4 single beds) accommodating up to a max of 8 adults and up to 4 children. (Without children, the adult max remains 8.) The loft has its own separate air conditioner.
The downstairs area has two of the four bedrooms, a bathroom with a walk in shower, a half bath, a laundry room with washer and dryer, and a game room. The game room, which is a great place for kids to hang out, has a TV, a rug, 2 sofas and a snap up table that can be used for games.
Got pets? The lake house is very pet friendly with a separate fenced-in pet area with steps leading up to the deck that surrounds the upstairs area. When not inside, your pet can have the run of the upstairs deck area (with two gates to keep them inside) while enjoying access to the enclosed pet area.
Accessories in the kitchen include a gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig coffee maker(bring your own K-cups), drip coffee maker (bring your own coffee) and a garbage disposal. A large overhead fan in the living area helps the HVAC keep things cool. The loft has its own separate air conditioner.
The outside deck on the main level offers outdoor dining with a table, umbrella, and a grill.

The pool area extends into a large area (beneath the upstairs deck) which features five overhead fans, two rocking “gliders” and other outdoor chairs (as well and its own refrigerator). The pool is 18 x 36 ft and 6 feet deep at the deep end.
The lake and the dock are a short fifty yards or so from the lake house which sits on a gentle slope. A concrete walkway (with crush and run to the dock) leads to the lake and the dock area from the lake house . This provides easy access to the lake without steps! Our trusty golf cart can transport you right to the dock if you prefer not to walk.
A gazebo overlooking the lake has a fan and a table and is a great place to read, enjoy the lake, or just rest in solitude.

Moving back to the lake, the dock is large and has cleats where you can tie up your own boat if you bring one. The dock house is pretty unique. It has air conditioning for the summer and can be heated during the winter. The dock house has a full size refrigerator, microwave and Keurig coffee maker (bring your own k-cups).
Water sport amenities and accessories include a paddle board, two kayaks (when not being used on our personal family vacations), and a canoe at the dock as well as water floats at the pool. (Bring flip flops to navigate around the pool.) Due to size differences we do not furnish life vests so you should bring your own if you'll be swimming in the lake (especially needed for children). Life vests, of course, are required for all who ride if you bring a boat.
A power outage can ruin a vacation. Our large Generac generator comes on within ten seconds of a power outage and powers not only all the utilities in the lake house but all the pool equipment as well.
Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of one "owner's closet". Guests will have access to the pool, gazebo and the dock. Guests are NOT allowed to utilize the owner's boats in the dock slips.

We ask that if you've been swimming in the lake, to please shower off at the outdoor shower provided under the deck before jumping in the pool. The lake water will cause issues with the salt water pool and we'd like to keep the pool water sparkling clean for you to use.
