This home was thoughtfully set-up as a short-term furnished home. It has new floors, fresh paint, and new kitchen appliances including a coffee maker. The washer and dryer are nice and we offer parking. One bedroom with a nice Queen bed (10" mattress).
Short-term stays are not allowed per Home Park. Intended for student rentals.
You do not need a car if you stay here. Location, location, location!
When you walk in there is an entry area followed by a nice living room. The living room has a dining table that seats 4. Then you walk to through the bedroom, through the laundry room, into the full bathroom at the back of the house. There is a kitchen off of the living room.
All of the windows have blinds and/or curtains.
There is a coffee maker with filters and a speed-boil kettle for water. There is a microwave, fridge, freezer, oven, stove, and dishwasher. The living room has a table that seats four people.
We offer a futon in the living room.
In-unit laundry (BYO laundry detergent) and wifi is free.
We are not wheelchair-accessible. There are stairs to get up to the unit, shown in the photos.

ENTRY: The only way to enter the house is up about 8 steps. They are a little bit steep.
KITCHEN: The kitchen is on the entry level once you are in the home.
BATHROOM: There is one step down to get into the bathroom.
SHOWER: It is a shower/tub combo.
TOILET: The only toilet is in the bathroom that has one step to get down to it.

This is the Georgia Tech residential area. It is right in West Midtown, close to restaurants and shopping. The specific area is called Home Park. We are 2.2 miles to Georgia World Congress Center and Mercedes-Benz stadium. We are 0.2 miles to Georgia Tech. We are 0.5 miles to Atlantic Station.
Walkable, safe, friendly. This is a great place to pick when visiting Atlanta.
You do not need a car to stay here. It is on Tumlin Street in Home Park. You can walk almost anywhere. We are between 10th street and 14th street where you can catch a bus. You can call an Uber directly to the house. The nearest Marta station is Midtown.
The house is in the community of Georgia Tech, a highly-ranked technical university.
Know that bugs are a part of life in hot, humid Georgia. The house has been treated for pests but don't be shocked if you see a dead or even live roach. They will not harm you. That is normal here and this is the disclosure to you that it may happen. Stay calm and Airbnb in Atlanta.
There are residents above that have a dog. You will likely hear the dog barking at times (when someone enters or exits that unit). You may hear footsteps.
There is one staircase to get up to the unit. The unit itself is just one level.
Be kind and do not stain the linens. Our towels are not for cleaning up messes or removing make-up.
Check-in is at 4 p.m. or after but if we don't have a guest the night before, you can have a free 2 p.m. check-in. Make sure to communicate with us about this!
Our check-out time is firm at 11 a.m. Please take out the trash, take home open food, and clean up after yourselves. If you used more than 2 bath towels, kindly wash the extra towels that you used and move them to the dryer to start drying.
Watch out for the step down to the bathroom. It is a larger step down than average.
