Sit on the upstairs deck looking over the Wimberley valley and garden, grill some steaks and relax in little piece of Texas just for you. Then head for the hot-tub to watch the stars overhead.
When it's hot out, come inside and draw the full length, double lined silk drapes to make a cool, cozy space to relax.
Inside there is a large Smart TV with terrestrial TV, streaming (Netflix etc) and DVD player (there is a RedBox in town for movies) or books and games for a quiet night in. Free wifi. The center of Wimberley is just 5 minutes drive. Austin , SXSW and the Circuit of the Americas are just 45 minutes away.
The garden is carefully planted with native species to conserve water and to attract pollinators and butterflies. There are vegetable beds too and guests are welcome to help themselves to what is ripe and ready during their stay. The cottage is built over an unused garage which lifts it and its deck above the treeline so you can see the views.
