Welcome to Curlew Cottage! This beautifully renovated 50`s beach house is a rare find. It is nestled 4 houses from the beach in a canopy of trees with a large screened porch for outdoor living. The cottage is 2 blocks north of Coligny Plaza, with many dining options, live music and hundreds of shops. It is 80 steps to the pristine sands of the Atlantic Ocean through a beach access shared by only 10 homes, so close to everything but away from the crowds! One dog is allowed on a case by case basis
This original 1950’s cottage was fully renovated in 2024 top to bottom with all the comforts of home provided with luxury finishes. Inside you will find an open concept eat in kitchen with everything you need to cook a gourmet meal or simply heat up leftovers in the air fryer. There is seating for 5 at the kitchen island overlooking the living area with a beautiful sectional sofa oversized ottoman and 50` smart TV.

One of the most incredible things about booking the Cottage is your proximity to the beach and the fact that only 10 homes have direct beach access at marker 61B, so the beach is not nearly as crowded but only a 3 minute walk to Coligny beach with Pool Bar Jim`s and the World Famous Tiki Hut with live music daily!
The lot is huge and mostly covered in pine straw with walking paths around the house and leading to a firepit out back. Around the firepit is the only place I allow smoking on the property. By requesting to book you must agree to this.
Spend your evenings playing games or relaxing on the screened porch with 7 foot dining table with seating for 6 and lounge seating for 6 in front of the 65` smart TV.
There is an outdoor shower fully enclosed with hot/cold water, a bench, shelving and hooks. This is an awesome place to rinse off the sand in the private 5x6 shower under a canopy of oak trees.
4 beach chairs, 4 beach towels, a beach cart and umbrella are provided for your stay. All I ask is for you to rinse off chairs and cart and wash/dry beach towels at the end of your stay for the next guests.
Curlew Cottage is ideal for 2 couples or a family. There is a sleeper sofa only to be used for children. Maximum number of adults is 4. This 2 bedroom 1 bath home also has an office with comfortable desk chair or it can be electronically raised to a standing desk. **Send inquiry for snowbird pricing (Nov - Feb)**

No smoking in the house, the screened porch or on the green turf out front. Smoking is permitted by the fire pit or by the road.
By requesting to book, you agree to follow all house rules and to treat our home with care. We understand that accidents happen — if something spills or breaks, please clean up promptly and notify us so we can address it quickly.
Please shake out clothing and towels to remove sand before washing, as sand can cause damage to appliances.

Parking & Property Care
Parking is limited to 2 vehicles
Please do not park on pine straw or the newly installed turf
When outdoors, remain on the designated walking paths and avoid walking through the pine straw, as the property is intentionally landscaped to preserve the natural setting
Pet Policy
Dogs are permitted only with prior approval and on a case-by-case basis
Please send an inquiry and tell us about your pup before booking
Approved dogs must be cleaned up after at all times
The yard is not fenced; dogs should not roam freely or enter the pine straw
We recommend walking dogs in the neighborhood or on the beach
Beach dog regulations: From Memorial Day to Labor Day, dogs are allowed on the beach before 10:00 AM and after 5:00 PM only
