This unique glamping tent puts the glam in glamping. The owners brought their skills of making Nashville homes pretty to create this unique getaway on their 58 acre mini-farm with abundant wildlife in a natural partially wooded setting. The beautiful creek is just down the hill from this fully equipped safari tent (we have two but they are 300’ apart to ensure privacy). There are hiking trails available and be sure to check out the Bald Eagles Nest as well as Blue Heron living right on our property.
Heated floors and a wood burning stove make it cozy in the winter months. Portable air conditioners are added in summer months. Each tent has a lighted headboard with USB ports for your phones and dimmer switches, a beautiful chandelier and a private adjacent washroom equipped with a shower (hot and cold water), sink and toilet. Two large fans pointed directionally make it pleasant in summer months.
The site is a short 10 minute drive from Highway 41 or 76, depending on whether you arrive from the north or south. When you arrive, you will park in a gravel parking lot behind an old red barn. The tent sites are about a 1000 foot walk through a meadow to a wooded area (we can schedule to give you a ride in/out upon your arrival/departure if you make arrangements in advance). If you want to come and go during your stay, you should be prepared for the short hike to/from the designated parking area as the tent sites are not accessible to vehicles (exceptions can be made for experienced off road drivers with 4WD vehicles but only with permission in advance).
The tent is equipped with a small refrigerator/freezer and Keurig machine. Pots and pans are not provided.
All tents are NO SMOKING. Maximum 6 people in one tent.
