Authentic log cabin in the woods down a private gravel road nestled beside a babbling brook. The cabin is located on 3+ acres of natural woods and landscaped gardens. A large fire pit outside surrounded by Adirondack chairs plus a large wood burning fireplace inside. Wood is provided! The home consists of 4 bedrooms, 2 upstairs and 2 down, one with en suite bathroom plus 2 more full baths, 1 newly renovated. A great room with a vaulted ceiling and cozy seating in front of the fireplace which joins the dining room with seating for 8. A full kitchen with all the cooking supplies needed looks onto the back deck that sits out over the creek and beautiful garden. A Blackstone gas grill and green egg located on the front deck along with comfortable cushioned seating. Great hiking in the area (maps provided) including a wonderful local waterfall and swimming hole (Pinky Falls) within walking distance from the cabin. The town of Highlands with wonderful restaurants, great shopping and grocery stores is a 10 min. drive from the house.
