The cottage is located in North DeLand, close to DeLeon Springs, but also convenient to downtown DeLand and Stetson University. The cottage is tastefully decorated, with new appliances, flooring, cabinets, fixtures, lighting, bathrooms, the large rooms offer plenty of space, the one bedroom has a king size bed, the bathroom is handicap accessible, and space includes a stacked washer and dryer. The cottage sits on a very pleasant and peaceful 7.5 acre lot, this is in a rural area of DeLand so expect dirt roads and a country feel. There is a main home also on the acreage, but spaced a good distance from the cottage; so, privacy is available. Onsite is a small working farm, a few farm animals (4 pigs, 2 goats, chickens, and few horses) so beware they do make noise. We often see deer and wild turkey pass through in the morning and evenings. This is a great place to relax while visiting the DeLand area. Also close to New Smyrna beach (25min), Daytona beach (35 min) and Orlando (1 hour).
