Enjoy the peace and tranquility of a quiet mountain lake, towering pines, amazing sunsets and dark night skies filled with bright, sparkling stars. Our lakefront cabin overlooks Saturday Pond, a spring-fed, crystal clear lake which is home to several loons, hawks, great blue herons, osprey and an occasional eagle and moose. The lake is 179 acres with maximum depths of about 25 feet and has bass, perch and pickerel in its waters which makes for great fishing. Saturday Pond is located in the town of Otisfield, Maine about 35 miles northwest of Portland near the Sebago Lakes region.
This charming cabin is neat, clean, comfortable and has many of the amenities of home. With a porch furnished with wicker furniture and a large picture window, the cabin provides spectacular views of the lake and its wildlife. During the season, pick blueberries out the front door of your cabin or gaze at the brilliant stars in the dark summer skies. The cabin has a common area which houses its living, kitchen and dining areas. The living room has a futon which can open up to sleep additional guests.
